Smile Uh oh....

Don't want to count the chickens before they're hatched...but I just found someone selling their turbo set up from their accord f22. The white girl just might be getting boosted! I'll keep you all posted.

Better rebuild your internals with that many miles

I was jk about the miles. I'm at like 160. I'm supposed to pick up the parts tonight-mani, turbo, dp and bov. Still need a hard pipe kit and a front mount. Boost gauge and a controller. I'm not planning to run more than 4-6lbs. But I just had the head rebuilt and a new head gasket installed. I think it'll be ok for a while with that low amount of boost. Then when I have the cash I'll get a p28 chipped, bigger injectors and search for somewhere that sells forged internals. I may just look for an h-22 that's already turbo set up and have that motor sitting around waiting to be swapped. I wanted to do the g-23 build but finding forged internals for my f23 has left me empty handed. And yes I searched.

Getting my drop springs installed...my buddy just informed me he needs his house windows tinted...and that he can fab the entire intercooler piping for me. I'm trading out the suspension work for tint on his Camry. I think I'll be trading out for a fmic and pipe kit in the near future. Bam!!

Oh yeah. Luckily I learned a trade where bartering is almost always an option. I'm so excited to get my girl boosted. BlackAc or anyone else, do you have any recommendations for engine management? I'm leaning towards a chipped p28 and maybe Chrome for the tune. I'm not going to run much boost because the internals are stock...but down the road when the motor is built or I do a swap I will be going all out. Thanks for any input.

Yeah I hear the chipped P28 is a great option

As for engine management, look into an AEM EMS

I'm debating both atm. But the Aem EMS is quite a bit more $ than the chipped p28...and to my knowledge don't they do about the same thing? p28 will just have to be flashed to a specific program while I'm being tuned and the AEM is the same way but like 6x as much...I see a piggy back AEM option for less money would that be better than a p28? Do any of them allow me to tune it with my laptop?

crome p28 would be the ideal setup imo

Well I still have the turbo stuff. Just been focusing on more important stuff like business and family. I'm hoping to get on it soon. Still looking for a ecu that will work though. And my car is burning about 1.5-2 quarts of oil a month. I don't have any white smoke coming from my exhaust or any real signs of blow by...but when the head was off my buddy did notice some slight scarring on one of the walls...idk if I should even bother installing the set up if there's a chance the motor is gonna take a dump. Any thoughts? If I did install it I would only run about 4-6 lbs of boost since I'm not doing any internals.

I wouldn't install it unless you rebuild the internals first. You can get a rebuild kit for a couple hundred on ebay
