You guys must not know how to drive stick? What RPM did you dump the clutch, or did you just feather it?

Like wise... would be nice to have an 06 6-speed 250+ HP CL though.

Knowing how to drive a stick is not the issue. I just read the car and driver and road and track reviews, plus others online for the tsx, performed by drivers who drive cars for a living and they got times in the range of 15.7-16.1 in the 1/4 mile.

Well for $300-$500 you should be able to do a clean, functional HID retrofit into an Accord V6... For the same amount in engine mods on a TSX are you going to be able to keep up with an AV6? Not even close.

And frankly, having spent a month with a TSX and as an owner of an 05 Accord V6 coupe (as well as an 02 TL-P), those who make the TSX's handling out to be fantastic are living in a fantasy world. It's a bit sharper than the TL-P, but the Accord V6 feels every bit as competent... the weakest link of my Accord are the EL41s.

Edit: I'd also like to add that while my garage housed an 05 TSX 5AT and 05 AV6 5AT for a month back in April, I got the chance to really compare everything with these cars - and the Japan-built TSX is no better in fit and finish than the Ohio-built Accord.

That's the exact time the 3.0 gets. We don't know how much he beat him by and how far they drove before a win was called, but if they both ran down the 1320, it should be fairly even, given the TSX driver knows how to drive.

Hence my point, I thought a TSX with same 200 hp and stick would be faster.
As mentioned, I guess the CL has the advantage of more torque.

Neither has any advantage since they get the same quarter mile times. Am I speaking Chinese?
