haven't been here for a while, but my auto tranny just shit for 2nd time in my 2.3 anybody know what trans from other cars will work. i picked up one froma 95 accord but it won't work and now i'm out of the money i paid for it.

 

I think a Prelude trans works with our cars if I'm not mistaken. THere was a thread somewhere. I maybe wrong.

yes...prelude trans will work.. they also have shorter gear ratios so you'll accel quicker. Again, prelude trannies have the same physical dimensions as our Fs...just different internals. This may not be the case for the auto trannys though....but for manuals...yes.

How JDM is it? Very JDM strait from Japan.
The transmission is in great working condition. I no longer use since I converted to stick.(very costly)
I am asking $350 for the tranny.

 

what year is the tranny, and it has to be all electronic, if it has a cable actuated kick down it won;t work. look near the dipstick if it has a arm that is spring loaded it won't work. thanx
