I am bout to change my tranny fluid. I ave about 30k miles on my 3.0 CL. Is it true that it is a sealed unit and you cannot changed the tranny filter? Has anyone done this before. Where is the drain for the fluid and where should i add the fluid?
I called up HELM publications to order the maintenance manual manual and they want $62 plus $36 for an additional manual because I have the 3.0. Is this manual worth it? Anyone have this manual? Any input appreciated.

Unfortunately I can't help you with the Tranny filter question, but as far as the manual.... it's definately worth it. If you plan on doing stuff yourself (which it sounds like), then it is a very valuable resource to own....

i change my fluid every 15K. there is a drain plug on the tranny. info is in your manual that came w/ car. as for the filter...i dont know...lemme know if you find out about it.

the manaul u r getting is for the 2.2 2.3 for $60 and the xtra manual $30 is for the differences for the 3.0 vs the 2.2 2.3 becuase most of the stuff is the same for all the i4 and v6. u need both!!!! for ur car and it is worth it. when u get them u will bew able to answer ur own ?. sorry i cant help u.
