Tranny Salvation

Well, this weekend I installed the tranny cooler and did a drain and fill. I used Honda ATF and put in 15oz of stuff called Trans X (bought from parts store $5.50) After everything the tranny is shifting smoother than ever. It feels great. Pretty sure I have saved my tranny, at least for awhile. I am the second owner of the car, and from the looks of it, the fluid has been changed before, which makes me happy. Good luck to the rest of you with auto's.

And good luck be onto you. You might lengthen the life a bit. If you were not slipping you are probably in great shape. But, if you were slipping, it is only a matter of time.
