Well I have to have my tranny rebuilt/replaced. I have 97 3.0 prem.

I have about $2000 Im looking to spend to deal with this, what would be the best option in your opinions ? Im at 152,000 kms

Rebuild add cooler
Replace add a cooler
Replace with Manual (is this possible)

any other suggestions lets hear em.

Make it a stick, I posted a thread not too terribly long ago about the same thing. After I got a new tranny, I had to get my linear solenoids replaced, totalling about $2000. Car's just fine, but that was my 4th transmission, but I'm @ almost 190k. I'd recommend switching to a stick, that's what I'm going to do if I need to get another tranny - or just buy a new car. In my opinion, you could replace the cooler, yes, but it's not a big enough deal that it would prevent tons of tranny problems in the future.

 

get a 2x stick, lol j/k. look at one of those dr evil trannies. ive seen a 3.0 accord converted to 6spd, so im assuming u can go that route with a CL.

I would go with the Dr.Evil tranny too if you didnt feel like going the stick route... Check V6p.net for a group buy on Dr.Evil tranny's - I think its still going on and they're a bit cheaper than what they normally run...
