Of course the TL..

If you want a change.. I suggest looking at the underestimated SAAB 9-5, very safe and reliable and comes with a turbo...(Buy it before GM complete changes everything)

Good Luck!

The TL doesn't share the same tranny as the 2nd gen CL does it? Don't know much about them but I'm sure you've done your research, right?

Yes it does. 5% of them will go south. Warranty extended up until 100K from Acura. If you can deal with the fact that you may need to replace your tranny 4 times under warranty, go for the TL.

Otherwise, look elsewhere!

TL first. Full sized family sedan. Very roomy.
TSX second. Basically an accord sized car. Very nice also but a bit smaller.

is300: too small.

Se-R is a sick machine with a good resale value but I love the 04-05 TL. My boy just put 20's on his and has an A-Spec kit, that whip is nice as hell I will have pics next week of it.

Sorry to hate, but if you are going to be lugging a family around the Lexus ES 300 is a reliable option. No probs to worry about, other than looking like an old man. but hey its for the family right. I have one and its been great. The IS is a corolla/civic size car and can barely hold itself. if you go acura then why not the 05 TL?

Man... good luck w/ the TL-S... and the glass tranny... hope you got some plans when it hits 100K... . But other than that, wonderful choice.

And I'm gonna even have to agree w/ the ES330 if this new car is strictly for the family... if you're worried about looking ilke an old man, just throw some shiny dubs on it.
