torque wrench question
torque wrench question
i bought torque wrench mastercraft make, the IN-LBS goes from 20 to 260. If I need 70 FT-LBS of torque, how will I get to do that? For example in order for me to change the clutch, I need to tighten the clutch bolts at 19 FT-LBS. What do I have to adjust my IN-LBS in order to do that?
I think you need a new tq wrench for that. Let me guess, your in/lbs tq wrench is pretty small?
Or you can keep your in/lbs tq wrench and use it for smaller stuff. Like your clutch. It says 19ft/lbs right? Well since 1ft=12in, you do 12inx19ft=228 in/lbs. Still within capacity of your current tq wrench.
Anyone chime in if im wrong?
