So the day finaly came when it came off the keyboard and onto the road. Ave P was filled with first gen CLs. I was impressed. More first gens then we get at meets.
Story made short Percy lost by numerous cars. Way too bad to even mention. Even though I had horrible take offs because of drizzle on second gear i I tore him a new one. Non the less they were friendly races. Great time. Got them on cam even though they are very shitty. My friend kept the cam on my gauges the whole time. Lol. Regardless there is a sec when you see Percy going backward almost.

SupraMan I'm curious how much power did you gain with the flywheel and clutch, or did you do that when you got the 5-speed at the same time.

it was but i was little nervous being at a street racing spot on an off night. i was there the night before and the cops and people were going fucking ape shit. brtween 150-200 cars. if i got in trouble with the law for a stupid reason last night, i def. woulda been thrown out of my house for the dumb shit that happened to me last week. lol

not for street racing. i try not to bring my car to the races. i dont fuck around in newark. just for underage drinking and changing the words around on my old high school's billboard thing. me and my friends didnt get charged because i live in a small city where all the cops know the kids and the parents, but the cops told my old man so if i got caught doing something else stupid i would really get it from my parents.

it felt good in first gear. i gotta LET OFF the gas for her to shift,plus she redlines early.all in all good fun. where are the vids of your dash?

Subbuzz, does your vtec really not engage? And is your tranny still messed up? And how heavy are your rims! Switch to stockies to run em, and get rid of any sound system and all the crap in the trunk. Take your passenger seat out, only 4 bolts. Torque break off the line around 2300rpms, and LEAVE IT IN D3 till you get around 110mph. Now go earn us our point back! NO GATE SHIFTING!You lock the torque convertor that way and will result in slower shifting which will lead to slower times.

Why can't I be in NY/NJ to rep for us J series in that race.....

 

throwing a p1259. my tec only works when it wants to,sometimes it "redlines" at 5grand and won't upshift unless i let off the gas. from a roll it's usually always always a slug now.no pickup AT ALL!!! 1st gear is the only one that seems normal......

 

Please dont race them and have it on video. We'll never hear the end of it, lol.
