Tire's Plus...again
Wow guys. Heard another great story from Tire's Plus. Apparantly it is standard procedure to chisel off locking lugs with air tools and whatnot there. A friend of mine took their car in there to get tires and instead of using the key that he made a point to supply them with, they beat the fuck out of his rim until the lock broke off...i seem to recall this having happened in the past to members. Tires plus!

Gave them the key and everything. They never asked for it, he gave it to the guy as he was going to start on it. Never asked for help getting them off, just hacked away.

Morons....morons i say. How the fuck do u give someone the key, and they still fucking break it. I would have a hernia on the spot, i'd be demanding all kinda shit.

My guess is just the sight of lock infuriate the people who work for tires plus for whatever reason. Maybe they have some weird urban legend surrounding wheel locks and using the key?

Werd...I mean....it takes more work to chisel the lock nuts off. WTF are they smoking there? They must not have vents while they're working of the cars as they're running.

it takes ALOT of work to chisel those lugs off. Locking lugs are solid steel I would imagine, takes one hell of a chisel to take that out.

Whatever type of rims they were had caps over the lugs much like our stock ones do. So yeah it beat the hell out of the rims but he wanted to cut his losses and didn't care that it was scrached and beat to shit behind the cap. Still i agree he should have given them a piece of his mind.
