Both are basically the same design, obx are usually around 350 shipped on ebay, comptech run quite a bit more. Some say you get what you pay for, comptech quality is unmatched, but very few complaints with obx.

If I'da had $1200 to spend, I would have gotten Comptechs. Since I didn't have $1200, I got OBX and have not regretted it.

I live near Comptech and emailed them about the lack of parts for 1st Gen CLs & Accords. I asked them to consider adapting one of their existing exhaust systems to the CL (and even volunteered mine as a guinea pig), but they weren't interested since Honda doesn't make the F23 any more. They're more interested in TLs, TSXs and RSXs. Is Honda still making the J30? That may explain why they discontinued the Accord 3.0 headers.

Honda is now make the J30A4. The engine block is slightly smaller than the previous J30's.

I believe this is the break down:

J30A1 = 1997

J30A2 = 1998 - 1999

J30A3 = 2000 - 2002

J30A4 = 2003+

If they're still making J30s I'm surprised CT isn't still making the headers. What does Honda use the J30A4 in?

The 2003-2004 Accord V6.

Keep in mind that the only Comptech headers no longer in production were especially made for the 1997-1999 3.0CL. They still make headers for the 2001+ CL, 1999+ TL, and 1998+ Accord V6.
