tires

are 225/55 tires too thick for our cars?

yup, the 225 is fine but 55 is too much, our stock tires are 205 55, if your gunna go 225 you should knock it down to 50 assuming your talking abotu 16in tires

55 is stock with NO drop. What happened, you don't want my 5 lug convo anymore? But you want stock tire sizes? They are real thick

it will be ok, i'm running 215/55/16 and there's no rubbing issue. I'm on a pretty big drop so your ride would be fine running 55...

I think 225 is too wide for the rim.. Not too sure..
225/55/16 = .42 inches increase in ride height from stock FYI

I got 215/40/16.

now that might* rub.... as of now with 16", the control arms and the fender liner is VERY close to the tires on my car so idk about 17".... if your drop is nothing aggressive then you'd be fine...idk

Depends on the drop, you'll rub with 255's if you're dropping low
