Does anyone know where i can pick up a decent tHrottle body spacer for my 97 3.0?
I'm lookin to buy a secret weapon intake and i want to put the spacer on before i get the intake

haha yeah..i didnt feel too much gain from the TBS...but definatly scared a lot of people with that noise..ive had sooo many people come ask me if i have a turbo in my car...n all i say is..."yet to come" lol..

but yes it makes that noise..sounds too sexy too!!

ok I found one but its for an accord v6. It has the same j-series motor in it so that'll work right?

okay now im curious cause i was JUST about to press "buy it now" on TBS. please elaborate? do they just plain not work?

 

i had one but the whistle was just too annoying on the 4 banger and i could hear it over my exhaust so i just sold it to some kid. and i dont know what he means by doesnt work. it doesnt do much to begin with.

ok so i'm gonna not waste 100 dollars just for a whistle.
I'll put the money toward a new set of tires, since two of mine are full of fix-a-flat rite now.

well if u got a 3.0 then its a different sound from what ive read. only reason why it was so loud with my car was because the tb is located right next to the firewall. the tb spacer on my motor just magnified the intake whistle basically.

 

waste. save your money. the only expierience i have with the mod is my friends mazda 6. but i really cant see it doing much.

 

Here is what I was able to find. I'm not a believer in anything but a turbo or a supercharger to improve induction. Anything that's a passive device can't do anything to alter the laws of physics. I only have the drop in K&N and it's been there since 2003. An air intake is just a pipe..
