i thought it was supposed to give u low and mid end power in ur rpm range but it seems like i'm gettin it inthe high end when vtec kicks in?...
and the only sound i hear pretty much from the sri is when im flooring it...did i install it right, 'cause i did it myself pretty much without instructions...

i have a injen short ram and i love it and stand by injen 100%

what brand did you get, if its a off brand you know why you dont get much power, cause no R&D went into it but you should get liek 3hp to 5

AEM V2 owns short ram. u should hear the sound of V2.

 

um yea short ram will amke you lose low end power, but gain up high, V2 would be the way to go

and yes with light throttle you shoudlnt notice a huge difference in sound

get a short ram weapon r if you want sound, inside my car I hear it sucking air in. Plus I gaind about 7-10 hp and its at the lower to mid

Also I know that TPR did a test and it was the best short ram out. I know cause they sent this poster with the dyno sheet at the bottom and a list of what the others made and weapon r was the best

 

I stand corrected, the AC autotechnic made the most gain. at 144.7hp but that was at the peak which is 7300rpms. The weaponr r made the most low and mid gain power. Sorry my bad

 

It depends on why you got. I have a V6 auto, and with the auto I need all the low and mid hp gain I can get. Oh and the weapon r did produce 7 and 10hp gains at different rpms. The base hp at 6000rpms was 107.3 and the weapon r gave it 114.7hp, and at 7000rpms the base made 128.5hp and w/ the weapon r it got 138.8hp.
