Those who want blue LED conversion
I can do it for a labor and parts fee.
You have to ship every part though. Or you can ship the bulb unit only, but thats risky.
I am still thinking of what I should charge.
how much are LED's? Resistors?
I have all the parts in my garage...I bought them in huge bulks.
Anyone interested? If anyone is actually interested I can calculate a price.
I know that most people on the forums don't have soldering experience, so they don't want to mess with their things.

Oh, I was just talking about the L.E.D's and resistors since you got so many. I'm a d.i.yer myself. If you could put together a package with just the resistors and led's that be awsome.

yea i bought them all off ebay, and i have like HELLA extra hahah
maybe i can sell the stuff off just enough for like, 5 others to do the conversion, maybe more.
To be honest, if you have experience, it only takes a couple of hrs to do everything (except shifter area, i didn't do that part yet)
But sunroof, cruise, climate, clock, etc can be done within that time constraint. I'll calculate a fair price afterschool today

well only for the clock and the display for the climate control
the cruise, sunroof, shifter, heated seats, climate control buttons can be changed by replacing the bulb with a LED + resistor.
You can take apart your car, and take out all the needed bulbs and I can do the soldering etc.
The thing is, LED's can only go in one way, so if you put it in, and it doesn't light, then you have to flip it to make it work.
If you want to be safe, you can send the entire unit (Entire cruise control switch, heated seat switch, etc) and I can test them out myself. And use electric tape to secure the excess wire so it doesn't short circuit. I'd use this method, cuz it took a little bit to mount it well. I actually dremeled some pieces to fit the resistor without it touching anything.

20 bucks shipped sounds reasonable....well your in hawaii...maybe 22? haha
and how many would you need?
I forgot how many I used...
5mm(cruise), 5mm(light dim), 5-3mm (i think for climate), 5mm (heated seat)
ill probably send 5 3mm and 5 5mm, then 10 resistors....will that work? or should i send 6 of each?
geez I shoulda organized this before I said I'd sell hahahah

well the lights themselves can't be changed since its like an LCD display, but if you put a dark enough blue filter over it, (i used a dasani water bottle plastic thing), it should display a bluish color.
It's hard to find a perfect match with the LED's, but it looks good enough with the Dasani.
I tried the same thing w/ the climate, but I dunno how to get that blue...the Dasani makes it blurry for some reaosn....I'm still figuring it out
