Well, I'll offer you the obligatory "hate to see 'ya get rid of the CL."

But, the Impala SS is one "kick-ass" car. I've always liked that model, and the 350 has certainly got some power. I've never driven one for any distance, so I can't speak for it's comfort. Whatever you decide, good luck!

Yea that 350 engine, which I believe was the same for the corvette, firebird, etc.. is a great piece of work. I never understood why they took away the Impala in 96. When they re-introduced the Impala it just doesn't carry the same weight. Literally, a 4,500lb car. I've never heard anything bad about the 94-96 Impala. The interior is a bit out-dated for me in stock condition. Don't care for the monsterous dash, and the console too much. But it's better than the shifter on the steering column. I would hate to see you get rid of your Cl. $15,000 is about right considering the mileage and depending on the appearance,etc... The Impala is a pure collectors car and depending on how the market is handling you could drive it for about five years or so and perhaps sell it for more than what you paid. Nahh probably not, but if you thinks its time to get something new than go ahead. Just remember to shimmer coat it like Master P, and install some navi like Nelly.

God, I'm going to sound like such a snob, but do you really want to go from an Acura to a Chevy? Not to mention the hideous styling of the Impala--can you say "land yacht"?

Yeah, happy cruising on that boat J/K, it is a badass looking car but too big (& domestic) for me. Did that car only come in black

our cars arent too spacey either for.. um.. "extracurricular activities"
but i would slap a turbo on the CL and be done with it. that way you could have refinement and the speed that you are craving.
