looks good, considering it myself...hmmm, how would one fit that on the stock piping, isn't the stock piping only 2"? Also, what does a 3.0 sound like? don't want it to sound ricey, ya know

PS, not trying to steal your thread

it's a magnaflow muffler. Not sure how it would sound on a 3.0 but i've heard them on a Type S before and they sounded tits. A lot better then my ricey N1

Dust, can you get me some better pictures? From different angles and further back? Also, how wide and long, tall is it?

athlonxp had that same muffler. from what i heard, it sounds almost stock (because it is the same size), but when you step on it, watch out.

Scott,

Mine is loud as hell! I'm not sure you'd like it.

I have other pics on my hard-drive (I'm at work). I'll post them this evening.

I've been looking at the Magnaflow with the dual oval tips. The guy at the muffler shop said they're real good (of course, what else would he say). I was quoted $220 installed. Have you got a quote yet?

the average price for the magnaflow 14258 is 121.99. i found it at one place for 102.99.

figure 20 for shipping so he's charging you at least 60-70 bucks for install. i don't know what exactly is involved in the installation, but thats assuming a good hour or so of work. are the tips included with the price of 220?

I don't know the dimensions. It's raining like a bitch (we had a tornado go through her late this afternoon) so I can't go measure it!

I can't find any other pics. I must have deleted them!

It's a 3A Racing "Air Dynamic" muffler.

It's still raining but these are what I could get:

Tips = 3 1/4" round (x 2)
Tips = 8" long (from canister to end of tip)
Tips = 8" (from left edge of left tip to the right edge of the right tip w/ about 1/2" space in between)
Muffler = 9" wide (both canisters w/ about 1/4" space in between)
Muffler = 23" long (excluding "Y" pipe connected to exhaust pipe)
Muffler = approx 4" tall (guestimate)
"Y" pipe = apprx 3-4" (from rear of canisters to exhaust pipe--this is a guestimate and can be customized)

I was thinking about getting that one also, either that one or this one:

But I think I'd like to keep the stock look, although I'm also partial to the dual canister look.

:P

The space between the tips is about 1" to 1 1/2" not 1/2".

ghander, the one you posted, i've heard it on a 3 liter V6 engine, sounds nice and deep and pretty subdued, not ricey.

the one rick has is probably much louder cause the canisters are so small, but if you have a bigger canister, it should be more muffled...

CLPower... i measured the apexI N1...

Cannister: 14" long x 6" round
Tip: 4" long w/ a 4" outlet
Inlet: 2.5"

It is a weld on cannister and hangers are already welded on.
