TCC Code?????

New to the forum, and yes I searched.

My 99 CL 3.0 has been shifting a little hard and random latley, and I just figured it was about time for the tranny to go (134000 miles). But the other day I got a CEL and it was for the TCC.

It says it is wither low fluid, the Tranny control Solenoid, or faulty connection.

Well, the fluid is a little low, but not below the lower line, the connection is fine, so I guess it is the solenoid right?

Problem is I went to Acura auto parts.org and there is like 5 different solenoids on the tranny, and none of them are labeled the TCS. Any Ideas?

Thanks!

You could do what I'm going to do and wait til the damn thing blows up and then have it rebuilt. I know a guy that does rebuilds. I just get him all the new parts and he'll do the rebuild for about 700 bucks. And someone will respond to this soon enough. After all it is close to the holiday's so it may take a little longer to get a post back.

Tranny fixed!
Going to smoke out the tail lights in a week and paint the headlight housings in about 2 weeks time. I ordered LED lights for the interior I just need to pick them up from my parents house.

Then I'm working on my girls car, 97 Dodge Avenger got a steal on a body kit for it for $220.

The rear lip for the avenger actually fit around the CL bumper its a little too long but a little magic couldn't hurt to make one fit. I think it would loo pretty good.

I'd be interested to see what you do with that rear lip, a little trimming wouldn't hurt, shoot I had to trim my rear lip to get it to fit too
