taking off the speaker covers

taking off the speaker covers

can anybody give directions on how to take out the speaker covers of the rear deck lid...or does the whole thing have to come off? if it does how do you take it off.

I believe you have to unscrew them from inside the trunk

i did that but theres one bolt left that wont unscrew.

They must be fairly difficult to get off....Best Buy is buying me a new set as we speak for ruining my last two grills.

be careful ... i broke one of em

they're tricky kinda gotta pull at em .... but there little L shape hooks that hook under the rear deck board thing

taking them out is easy, putting them back in is hard... check out my picture in the gallery, I painted and clothed mine

yeah those imposter bolt crap things are cheap. i broke one of em. oh well. just be careful. i did and still one broke

hmmm, that's odd...mine just come right off. The guy who had the car before me put in new speakers, so maybe he just didn't put the grilles back in right
