Swap 99 grille with 97

Are they a straight swap? I like the simpler design of the 97 with the bar going through the middle, as opposed to the bunch of vertical lines on the 99.

Also, where do I get one? Don't wanna pay like 250 from a dealer.

Yep it's a straight swap. And junkyard is probably your best bet unless you can find somebody selling one/willing to trade.

No. CL's are supposed to be the upper class version on the Honda side. Not to degrade it. imo

Exactly correct. Don't put a honda symbol on it. Besides, this car could never be classified as "JDM" because it was only built in America and has no Japanese counterpart

Yep, direct swap, I've had both on my CL on both my hoods. And please don't put a honda emblem on it

On TL's its different since they have the Inspire and Saber in Japan. But CL's it has no place for it.

Yeah I don't understand doing Honda emblem swaps. Acura logo looks 100x better anyways! The worst car to do this on is the NSX, I hate when people ruin them. :/

The NSX is a Honda lol, it was only sold as an Acura in North America.

I haven't seen anybody do it, but it's kind of strange because if you look at the parts catalog for the 1997 grill, the diagram shows a Honda badge for the center of the grill, but the part number isn't shown lol
