Does anybody know if there are any companys that make superchargers for the 1st gen CL? Turbos? I would definatly do it if there were.

 

nothing for 2.2 .....computech for 3.0

 

There are turbo set-ups for the 2.2/2.3, but you'll need a custom set-up on the 3.0.

Comptech makes a Supercharger for the 3.0/3.2, but beware of blowing your tranny (a 1st Gen'er has already blown one).

 

i dont think its worth it to spend 3-4g for 40-50hp....well thats just me

You must be thinking of the H22 swaps.

Even at 10 psi (stock for the FMAX) I gained 95 HP over full modded NA.

Dont know about the supercharger...

 

i was talking about SC..i might be wrong on the hp gains though....whats FMAX kit?? is it like SC?

The Comptech SC gives 50hp at the wheels, so that's prob more like 70hp to the engine. They say they had no tranny probs w/ a cooler installed. The problem is that although they make one for the 3.0, it is for the ACCORD 3.0. I can't imagine the differences anre more than minor, but Comptect insists that it won't fit the CL. I'd like to encourage you to try and make one fit, however. Then you can tell the rest of us how to do it. If not, at least go to http://www.comptechusa.com/cgi-bin/f...s.cgi?forum=24 and voice your demand for a first-gen sc.

 

co30cl, how much hp did you get out of E-ram SC?

Hard to say here at 6000ft, but I'd guess 5-10 overall. Biggest gain was in upper end. When floored, it'll pull consistantly better over 70mph.
