I just got a slightly heavier than stock exedy clutch and pressure plate. resurfaced
my flywheel and that was it. I think the exedy stuff was like $250. you don't really see a diff.(leg work wise) but performed better than stock.

well there is a place here called rochester clutch and brake(that won't help you)
and they did it for free since I got the stuff from them. just shop around your town
you might get it cheaper. but I do think the next step or two from stock is the best bet though, unless you plan on going racing.

I had a clutch masters stage 2 clutch in my CL on the h22 tranny. It was deffinately a pretty stiff clutch. Your leg could get tired after a couple hours in traffic. Deffinately do not get the stage 3 clutch if you plan on doing any daily driving.

anything over a stage 1 clutch takes some getting used to. almost like driving a big ass uhaul truck. i had a act stage 1 in my eagle talon and it felt totally different. but stage 1 should set u off real nice.

cool...nice avatar too. use the bike when you get it. it'll be sharper

and yeah there is a big diff. there is alot more clutch material. and I think there are less pucks. stage one has one big run of material. stage two has like ten individual pucks. so it grabs sooner and harder

I used the stock flywheel with the stage 2 clutch. It does take some getting use to. But after a couple of weeks you forget that its stiffer until someone else drives your car and makes a comment about it. Or if you get stuck in traffic for an hour.

But its a gerat clutch it catches everything you throw at it no problem at all.
