Speed censor wire

i got my avic n-1 installed by professional yesterday by professional installer, well....first off, he couldnt find the speed censor wire for my 98 2.3 CL. do you guys know where that wire is and what color that is?

you can find it down by the ecu or under the hood. the wire color should be orange.

the speed sensor is located on top of the transmission directly uder the egr valve. it has a 3 wire clip with yellow orange and black

what are you so confused about? i have done 2 transmissions on my car and i yanked the speed sensor apart on accicedent and had to get a new one. that is where it is but as lcacura stated you can find the orange wire on your ecu

thx for the image jones but...

isnt there somewhere dats simpler to get my speed senser wire? this is to install my avic n1. i dont think i have to go all the way underneith the transmission to connect that wire.

do you need the speed sensor or do you need a speed pulse sensor? The reason i ask is because i have a factory navi and i need a vsp signal, is the avic n1 a navi system?

like i said before, do what lcacura said and trace the wires back to the ecu and use the orange one

yes, avic n1 has navi.
