Speakers?

Hey are there better speakers out there than just the stock system?
only reason is i ask is that i like to listen to Dubstep LOUD! and it also seems like in straining my system. I have pioneer headunit and the bose setup. Any help/tips would be helpful.

Are there better speakers than the paper cone crappy bose speakers? You have to be joking right? There are plenty of better speakers out there. Try checking out this forum for some ideas.

https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/

I'm running all competition grade speakers in my CL, and pushing almost 2500 watts Needless to say, there are way better speakers than the crap our cars came with that are almost 15 years old

seriously hobo, I wasn't trying to hate, I even provided a link to help you get started. I have a write-up of when I replaced all my speakers, but unfortunately the pictures are long gone. I can help answer most of your questions though, feel free to post them here or pm me.

The front doors are 6.5" and are matched components, the rear speakers are 6x9's. Those kickers that you posted would definitely work for the doors, and the front dash tweeters.

Speakers purchase is waiting on getting a job that pays and also getting a brake job.

not to be a dick, butt you should google.

but basically, when looking for audio equipment, you want to base your power needs off the RMS.
Because thats the real world power, or continuous power.

Peak power is just that, PEAK.

you really may want to do some research before you go throwing money into speakers especially if you do not know what RMS means. There is a big difference between RMS and peak watts. Peak is worthless is 99.9% of the cases and most of the peak watts advertised are just plain out lies. I would really suggest you do some reading about speakers and anything audio before you throw your money away into something you are not happy with, and believe me there is a big difference in audio equipment. Some guys on the street corner may not be able to tell the difference between a set of pyle 2 ways and a set of focal components, but get someone in your car that knows what music is supposed to sound like and they will hurt your feelings quick when they tell you that your system you paid allot for sounds like slapping a stick into muddy water

Your stock setup will only give you about 20-30 watts rms per speaker if you have the bose system. You will unlock the full potential of aftermarket speakers only after installing a real amplifier.

Umm...it looks like there's plenty of information to make a decision on speakers to me, so doesn't seem like a fail to me.

OP, def take ur time and choose wisely, although I agree that almost anything is better than the stock setup. I was lucky enough to get a full sony xplode system, all speakers/tweeters and headunit for $80 installed from my friend that works at Best Buy lol.
