Just curious as to why other people arent turbo'ing there 2.3's is it cause it doesnt have potential like the h22?
* This is the only f23a i have seen w/ a turbo, besides accords.*
This will be my next step if someone can give me some positive news

There are a few member that have turbo'd their cl's on here.

That guy says he's pulling 212 at the wheels, I thought you could get close to that with just a h22 swap without a SC or turbo.

def a few members that have turbo'd the f's, most guys on here would rather drop in a more powerful motor than deal with all the work it takes to make a good custom turbo

because you lose your front motor mount when you go turbo.

200+ whp NA out of an H22 is possible but not easy.

you're looking at a 3" exhaust, custom header, cams, ported TB and IM and a tune at the very least. that's not cheap.

if you got the money to play with to get the job done right you can make good power with the f22 or 23 back in the day there was just not enough info or people doing this which made it very hard to make good choices on what to do. so doing h22 swaps seem better. but good luck

There is no substitute for cubic inches 4's just cost so much money and your only looking at like a 250 horse motor unless u go real crazy then it cost a butt load of money. I have to say built fours are fun to drive, spunky little guys.

What exactly are you trying to prove wrong? I listed members on here that have or had turbos, Ethenol had a TT yes, I said he had a turbo setup, hulk has a turbo h22

lol, only in the context that it's a larger displacement motor with all the turbos and shit you'd do to the smaller motor.

i bought a crank pulley off a guy who turboed his BB1. Fully built JDM h22, type S internals, resleeved, the whole 9 yards. huge FMIC.

he showed me his dyno sheet, 389whp. car sounds so mean with a 3.5" exhaust

You damn right that shit aint cheap lol.

BTW to the OP, Will is xrunner86x, and he went turbo H22 after turboing that F23. Just to let u know. 212/228 aren't bad number to the wheels at all on that build though.
