im thinkin about boostin the cl. what kits out there are available?

 

i got this brighgt idea how bout u try searching before u make a new thread there r a few users on here that have boosted their cl so try that for a start

i tried searching. and found no results for the 1g cl's

 

impossible... there's a few boosted CLs on here.

you gotta explain yourself more..what motor? 2.2,2.3,3.0? what power you looking for? etc etc

can't expect answers without the proper info

 

98 2.3. lookin around the 350-400 hp range if possible

 

that's some serious power & yes it's possible.

another question though, how much you got to spend?

 

id like to keep it under 3 grand. im new to the whole import scene. the cl is the first car that im going to be building.

 

you won't hit that power range with less then 3g's..for that kind of power you'd have to rebuild the motor to handle that kind power.

If you want some more power your best bet would be to do a h22 swap which can be done easily for under 3 g's and go from there.

but if you really want boost then i recommend doing ALOT of searching before you even think about getting started.

and on here too. There's alot of info out there you just gotta go find it and read. there's too many different ways you can go with boost. Noone will give you a straight up answer cuz there really isn't one.

 

Not with 3k! Maybe 230 to 240ish with that amount of doe.

 

which is why i decided to start with a different platform of engine. takes a good 6k to get that out of an F23.
