so i was driving after i got my new tires put on and something sounded like it flew off underneith the car.. car seemed to drive a bit weird too... lighter steering i think i noticed? any ideas?

 

did u check if ur lugs fell off

 

Could be lugs, or the heatshield on the cat, or any number of things

 

Lugs. Happened to my dads car.

 

Maybe it was the gremlin underneath that couldn't hold on any longer

 

damn gremlins. ruining my life...


anyway last time something fell off my car it was a bolt for one of my calipers. all bad. but yours might not be as bad. you should prolly go back to the shop to get it checked

if it is driving weird and its not a lugnut, check to make sure all your balancing weights are there..
mine fell off a while ago and i still havent gotten it taken care of

 

its not driving weird now.. i just ment it was driving weird because of the light steering.. well ive been driving without any probs right now so hopefuly its nothin seriuos.. this happend a while back with my older crap car but drove it with no prob.. so i did a quick check to see if it looked right and it did but i did noticed some balancing weights missing.. do they stick the weights on with tape or something? cause all i can see is tape where the weights are suposed to be....

 

and can these small weights make that loud of a ding??
