so.....

the headers we buy for the 3.0 is the ones for the honda accord 98+ right?

Cause those are the ones I got, and the damn thing actually doesnt leave room for the downpipe to be installed. The ends of the header (for the rear i think) is like 1 inch away from the axle. and for the other one, itz not leaving room either to meet with the downpipe....i have pics, so i'll post them tonight.

they called me but i didnt get the call though on the cell. They called up my friend and told him it was REALLY important, something about my car.....you guys think it has anything to do with the fact that they just reinstalled my old headers, maybe they wanted to tell me not to haul ass or something??? if so, too late on that one...

the downpipe has to be bent or cut/re-welded 1" towards the flex pipe.

i've always known they had to be bent, but the shop told me even if they were, my axle was in the way and it wouldnt go on at all still. Was your axle in the way peeps?

Seriously, I don't think they took the time to figure out how to do the install correctly!

I've done 3 OBX header installs on 3.0CL's without an issue with the axles.
