Honestly I was thinking of throwing some spotlights in the hood, to light up the area when i pop the hood open !!!

Yeah pretty much .. that and I dont have much money too spend on my car but I like to make it look good and this works for now

Don't think I'm bashing you though, I'm the same way, and I'm sure a lot of other people are. How long did it take you to wire up everything?
Take some pictures from further away so we get the full effect

LOL I was considering white because I have around 100 white leds lyeing around, but I can see very well I dont have to feel around for my hole for the tranny dipstick any more LOL

It actually does not but I need to get a switch so it only comes on when the hood is open right now I manually switch it off but I thought it would but I guess our hoods seal well

Welll the thing is when I put lights on my car I try to make it so if the lights are off you wouldnt know if there were lights or not so if I get sick of it I never turn them on LOL

I used 5mm leds (got them off ebay left over from my speedo dash conversion) where I have them there not that close to heat and besides that there pretty resiliant, I would be more worried about the wiring but its all routed away from hot spots
