Hi, I have a 2.2CL... Have an CAI, 9.3mm plug wires and Bosch 4X spark plugs and the rest are stock. I am planning on getting a header, catalytic converter and muffler for it. For those of you who had done mods like that before, how do u guys pass the smog test??? I live in LA and smog regulations seems pretty strict here. Thanx,

 

Pretty simple for me, they are no emission or any kind of inspections on cars at all in Florida. Maybe you should move.

 

Just make sure the header and intake have CARB #'s. THe muffler should be okay.


I don't know about those 9.3 mm wires though....last time I checked, 9 mm was the legal limit.

 

i have 9.5mm wires. 9mm is the limit? is that in cali only?? Thats wierd, i never heard of that. I mean spark plug wires dont effect emmisions do they. I think not.

 

i was just foolin on the 9mm limit.......
