shudder at 2000rpm

heres something i notice on my automatic 1st gen cl
It happens only when its around 2,000rpm
doing an easy 40mph there is a distinct, regular shudder from somewhere which disappears when I increase the revs/speed,
that the best way I can explain it.

ive googled this and peoples opinion were:
engine mounts worn out
mass air flow
torque converter
flywheel
ignition coils

i change my spark plugs and wireset just about a week ago
i dont remember if this occurred before that. right now i got a small budget since most my paycheck goes toward books and tuition so any help or suggestion would help alot.
thanks
mike

I would start with spark plugs, cap and wires, if that doesn't correct it, I would assume the TPS or Mass Airflow is going bad

I don't know if it will help but before you start getting into the tricky and expensive stuff, try seafoaming. That might clean out whatever is making the car shudder.

where is Mass air flow (MAF) sensor loated on Acura CL2.3
I can only find intake air temperature sensor. Where is MAF sensor located on Acura 2.3 CL?

tron: Im pretty sure there isn't one on our cars.

not to confuse anyone
copied and paste this from an old thread
can anyone confirm this
i have 2.2L so this should be similar to 2.3L perhaps the same
thanks.

i have the exact same problem, my motor mounts are really worn out and my torque converter slips, i know all of the other factors you listed are fine. so that can at least narrow it down to that, most likely being motor mounts.
