Short Shifter

Recently my short shifter was snapped in half. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a short throw or adapter that would fit on my 2.2cl. Oh and would it be rom a 94-97 accord?

If i remember correctly most people have DC Sports short shift adapters. How exactly do you put them in if you dont mind me asking?

use the B&M adapter for the 94-97 accord.

1StGenCL : you have to lift up the center console, and it slides over the cable that engages the gears. all the adapter does is it moves the postion of the cable farther up, and therefore makes the throws shorter.

the B&M has a three positon adjustment. the only catch is the more you adjust the shifter itself so it stays in the center (like stock the longer the throws are.) i have my neutral close to the stock position and the throws are still a whole bunch shorter. i didnt want to put it on the shortest throw because i dint feel like having neutral where third usually sits.

i know it sounds confusing but i hope it made some sense.

I've got the B&M for the 97 Accord. Kinda pricey for the mod but I like it.

If you really want to why dont you saw your shifter down a bit and get a universal knob... I figure it would do the same thing!
If it works tell me and I might try it! he he

neuspeeds i think is a complete shifter , i dont think its an adapter...that would better explain the steep price for it compared to other adapters...if my logic works

Hmm, so we have reports of breakage with both the DC Sports & the Neuspeed. Were you guys really yanking on your sticks when this happened?

actually, i was beating the crap out of it.=) If i was kind of expecting it though. after i put the adapter on, my shifter didnt feel real strong. Maybe the guy put it on wrong or? Next time i'll do it myself.

Any of u heard of a full short shift kit?
