Shifter knob

I am looking into gettin a momo shifter knob, but they are round and our stock ones are square. has anyone installed this and how do you do it, Thanks

It should mater b/c the shift handle is round under the leather boot. I think it is only square shaped b/c of a plastic piece that connects to the bottom of the factory knob. A Momo knob should fit.
