Shift Knob and Boot Question

ive tried several shift knobs for my car and can never find one that works with my stock shift boot. can anyone let me know of some good shift knobs that will work with my stock shift boot or how i can make it work. thanks.

Well u wont find an aftermarket shift knob to fit the boot.
So.. Get a new boot. CHeck these guyz out. Just make sure to ask for a new boot without the clip thing.

Oh and Klepto our favorite moderator has made a great DIY for the shifter. It lowers the knob and shortens the throw. It also makes the boot not sag as much. Best mod ever!

i dont know if i want the prelude short shifter though. it looks to time consuming and i have absolutely know time to work on my car anymore. i guess ill just get a new boot. ditch my conrero shift knob and get the acura zine one.

i just zip tied my boot on the bottom to help hold it up

Just run it with the boot on but not attached the knob.. as I've done for months. There are a few Honda/Acura threaded knobs that turn up every now and then. I won't touch any of them that come with allen keys anymore, my Momo was a disaster.

yea the one i have now i had to use an allen key. it keep coming lose on me and i would have to tighten it every other day until i finallly stripped the thread. my shift knob is made for a VW so maybe thats why it doesnt fit to well.

ill consider it. does mom make pedals too. b/c im looking for some nice billet pedals and if they do then ill get there shift knob too.
