Shift boot that I came up with

Its for my accord, but same idea... used CL parts

You'll recognize the base chrome piece, from the 98-99 autos. The top piece is from a CL-S manual boot to match the knob. The material for the boot is faux suede for automotive upholstery (has nice woven backing)... the flash makes it look grey, but its black. The boot is hand stitched to the chrome base... took some time but worth it.

Heres the result:

I have a screw driver holding the knob up inside... i'll get more pics once its in the car to show the real height of the shifter.

yea, just a "type R" knob in the back... the early S2K knobs are very similar but have the 6 speed shift pattern on the top and have more of a "balloon" shape, getting very narrow at the base. The newer S2K, TSX, TL and Accord 6-speed knobs have the band leather wrapped around them.
