security overide?

I've had the car two months ( bought it on Ebay)..... I've not driven it in a week and was surprised when the remoteless entry didn't work . Went to start it up and no response, acting like the battery is completely dead...ie the remote entry doesn't work ..ignition doesn't work..lights, power seats,etc........so I tried jumping and still nothing?

Could I have a security system that disables the car after a set number of days?

Does the lock lock next to the gear stick have anything to do with it ?

Funny thing is I'm not mad because the car looks and drives soooo good and if all else fails I will tow it tomorrow to a garage.

Are there any performace shops in the Torrance area ? The Honda shop I used actually swapped out the blue interior reading lights for "Good reliable stock whites".......

Cheers!

It sounded like dead battery until you said you tried to jump start it. I highly doubt its anything security system related.

so nothing works? maybe your battery is drained..wait..you said you tryed to jump it.....unless its a bad battery all together thats wont even work with a jump.....if you have no power...its gotta deal with the battery....did you make sure you clamps are tight, no wires are cut, etc...fuses

Might want to check starter, plugs, and wires. Could be completely dead battery, maybe wanna check if the alternator went bad also.

yeah if the battery is to far drained you can't jump it or charge it. i would take that avenue first. after that..well lots of things can go wrong.

To answer one of your earlier questions for everyone here, unlocking the car with the key will also shut off the alarm.
