I have the same problem. I took it to the dealer to have it fixed, but they didn't fix a damn thing. They claimed to have tightened up the door panel and everything on the panel, but the damn plastic thing that holds the light still rattles

On a similar note, there was a thread a week or so ago about difficulty starting when your gas tank is below 1/4 tank. I experienced that for the first time yesterday. Generally try not to let my tank get that low, but I was lazy and gas prices just jumped like 20 cents a gallon somehow. Urban legend has it that running your gas tank low is bad for your fuel pump and I tend to believe it. It makes sense scientifically.

Mine does the same thing. I give one good punch and it usually stop for a while. I have had the door panel off so many times for other reasons (stereo, window regulator...ect.) I just don't feel like messing with it. I am going to Dyno Mat my car this spring sometime. That will stop all my rattles.

You should be able to take the panel half off and reach up and tighten the screw that holds it in place.

Solution from 1stGen

1stgencl: Sounds good I wasn't sure if it was a clip or a screw. I've been putting off trying to fix the rattle b/c off inclement weather, but it's driving me crazy, so I'll do that this weekend.
Thanks Again,
SWClown

Have you tried securing the passenger side foglight?

mine does this too, i really dont think that mine is the security light though. I stuck some papertowels between the window and the rubber part and that stopped it (obviously i didn't leave it there), it also added about 15 horsepower, I bet i could sell it on ebay like that dude selling the copper pipe shit.

I don't know how to permanently fix the rattle though

Anyone try some Dynamat or whatever??
