seat warmer
how long does your seat warmer takes to get warm? it's kinda chilly out and I've tried to use the seat warmer but it doesn't seem like it's working for me but the green light comes on when i pressed the button to turn it on.
so is my seat warmer busted or it just takes a long time b4 you can feel the heat?

I'm with the others, about one minute and I can feel it - and a few minutes to warm up to it's warmest.
One question for you guys, what color are the lil lights in the switched supposed to light up? My drivers side doesn't light up at all and the passenger side lights up white. I may just have to buy another set of switches.

I think the lights in the switches suck.
They're the only bulbs I've changed on the entire car. I replaced both indictor lights that come on when you turn them on.
Now my passenger light that comes on when you turn on your lights is out![Mad](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Also, when I got my OEM indicator replacement bulbs, they didn't have the little green plastic covering on the bulb to make them glow green like the originals did.
Now they glow bright white when I turn them on......oh well, I guess I'll know when I've left them on.

Hmmm how do you get to the switches? Some idiot that had the car b4 me stuck a screwdriver in the slot on the top of the switch, and focked the black dash piece all up (so I gotta get a ne one sometime). I might put some green LEDs in there instead of bulbs.

well maybe...when i got my seat re-leathered, i found out that acura ran the wiring for the heated seats in a shitty place....if u look at your seats, the middle part where you butt sits, acura ran the heated seat wires through that crease in the seat. This means its easy for theose wires to get rubbed and worndown and break. Mine was discovered to be broken when they had my seat apart. Now, the only part that works is the headed pad in the back of the seat..., my butt has to stay cold. :-(
Soo, if your not feeling the heat, there might be a defect in your seat! (wiring that is) (ha! that rhymed!!) lol

dateline 2002, Kansas City, MO.(hundreds of thousands without power for 2 weeks) dateline 2000, Des Moines, IA. (heavy snow fell in september, before the leaves were gone on the trees. All the weight of the snow pilled on the leaves and branches caused trees to trim themselves! One fell on my previous car!) Live through these winters without heated seats...then complain. N FLA is tropical, do you guys even get snow around there?

My driver seat warmer takes a really long time to warm up and it's never really that warm once it gets going. Now the passenger seat gets warm within one minute and you can definately feel the heat. Where do I start troubleshooting? How much would a dealer charge to fix something like that?
