The Seam!!!

I love my car but for some resaon i hate that seam that goes down the middle (IMO) but i was wondering has anyone evr tried to get rid of it like mold the hood, trunk, bumper to get rid of it? i think it would be rly cool but nevr saw it is it possible?

yeah go for it.. mold a front bumpers push out the crease on teh hood and truck.... then drop in a NSX motor.. nobody would ever notice what you ahd done to it..

I hate the seam too.

At least on 2nd gen its only in the front.

I think that is what makes the cl's distiguishing look. it wouldnt look right if the hood and trunk were flat.

i agree it wouldnt look right flat.. but for you complainers this is the concept car so now that you ahve seen this .. no more complaining cuz it could have been a lot worse.. well if you hate the body lines...

the seam is what seperates the cl from the accord.. not worth trying to get rid of it

Yup...that was the original concept CL. Can you believe they went from that to what we all know and love now?

WHAT! the "seam" is nice, it's Acura's defining mark, alot better than some circular hood ornament!

you're going to effectively cut a section out of the hood, trunk and both bumpers and have them rejoined with a smooth, flat peice of sheetmetal. and then paint. or just buy a 94-97 accord bumper skin set, hood and trunk, cut them to fit. At any rate, expect to spend some cash.

The only place I don't like the seam is on the back bumper and trunk. I think it looks nice on the front.
