Unhappy scared

Iam about to drive from Long Beach to San bernardino and its raining..i have a v2 intake...will the water affect my engine?

nope. unless you drive the car into a pond/lake/insert larger body of water here.

only if you have a CAI, and you drive through a big puddle and suck up water.

^^ for a 2.x model, dont know about 3.0

i just drove from NJ to Connecticut with a 2.2CL lowered about a 1.75" through several downpours on I-95. i was a little nervous cuz i also just put in a CAI but no problems =) ill prolly purchase a bypass valve in the future just to be safe tho..

Like alex said, unless u drive into a pond or huge puddle you should be fine, the V2 doesn't even sit as low as a cai, you'll be fine

You would have to pour water on the filter long enough to drown that bitch. Don't worry bro... you'll be fine. Just watch for the speed traps.
