I did mine without one and I need to retorque all my bolts. Suspension is not something you wanna half ass. I am waiting to put my d2's on to retorque everything, but I highly recommend doing it right when u do it. THey have torque specs for a reason

^^ i 100% agree i bought a torque wrench specifically for this job. there are a few bolts you can f*** up easily from overtightening and you dont want your expensive a$$ suspension blowing out the wheel well on the highway doin 100. i think every bolt on the suspension has a torque rating, so yea it is importante

you spent the money to get suspension for the car; it's just a little more to invest in a torque wrench; let's say you tighten a bolt incorrectly, just try to get it done 'really tight', then if you have issues next time or decide you want to change something up you find out you have a bunch of bolts that are impossible to loosen.
like 97 said, u don't want to half ass this kind of stuff.
even if someone came in and said "yes, there was this one time i did not tighten enough, and my suspension came apart on the freeway", is that really going to change your mind about cheaping out on a torque wrench?

OK, bolt that goes through the bottom of the rear shocks is 40 lbf-ft, the bottom of the front forks is 47 lbf-ft, the bolt that holds the front shock to the fork is 32 lbf-ft and the upper front and rear bolts on the top of the shock towers are 28 lbf-ft
