I was at a shop today and they have this oil that they claim to be amazing called royal purple. from what i hear its pretty good. anyone hear of it before?

 

no, but my transmison was slipping a little bit and i put the lucas transmision additive and the lucas injector cleaner and now my car is running sweet... only like 15 bucks at discount auto parts

 

yea, Royal Purple is the shit. I use it, and a few people on here do too. My closest friends that are into racing use it too.

 

its expensive.. its $50 with a good filter... but im getting that on friday along with NGK wires and plugs. all for 275...should notice a bit of a difference.the oil is for the engine not the trans =)

dont do it.....you can get the oil for 5.26/quart if you go with the OEM one. If you go for the racing oil, then yea, it'll come out to about 50. But here, you can oder that oil for the price i mentioned at Northernautoparts.com

 

thats with a really good filter tho

 

i use the fran x2. itz suppose to last 7000 miles. But i change it out at 3000 anywayz...they run for 10 bucks.

 

you can pick that up at pep boys or walmart...
