You still have your rear bumper???

If so I'll buy it.

Nice work Ron but the reality is, as i am sure you probably know, it will be hard to sell enough to make it worth it. Nothing against anyone on this forum but everyone that has come up with some idea for a kit or something (someone like Ross) gets a bunch of interest in the product but a hand few, if that, that will actually buy. None the less, nice work and i am glad to see your wheel line is coming along nicely.

yeah it doesnt seem like enough people would buy the kit for you to make a profit. but like someone said, maybe just making a lip. it doesnt have to be like the WW lip but if you just forget about the kit and start designing a nice clean lip you will be better off.

In an ideal situation, it would be nice to have the whole kit made. By pushing for just a lip, I think thats the best chance we have of getting something made. Then hopefully, we have something nice available for our cars, RonJon is able to make a profit so it works for everybody. I think we have to keep in mind that these concepts would be great to have produced, but RonJon has to make a wise business decision.

The more I look at the 1st gen photoshop and the 2nd gen kit, the more I don't like them. Look at the second pictures front bumper. It's just a vertical drop, no style at all. Actually the whole kit is straight vertical like this third picture of a Sentra. I'm starting to lose faith. I'm almost pretty sure I won't like the design IF it's even ever made, which I doubt.

I disagee with you. I like the way the 2nd gen kit accents the body, I think you are one of those people that seriously considered putting the black widow 2 kit on your car buddy. But then again, I'm more into the JDM vip styling of cars while you are still prolly in your apc stages.

I never wanted the black widow kit, what are you talking about? I also hate APC products. You must have me confused with someone else. Don't make assumptions about me when you don't even know.

I don't think that kit has any style. It doesn't look like something that would be an option from the factory. I'm not into aggressively huge body kits and you would know that if you had read some of the previous posts.

Don't get me wrong, there's parts of that kit that I like, but it just looks too much like it's in the begining stages of design and development. Needs more refinement. Why do you think nobody's buying?

FYI, I'm not attacking Ronjon or anything, I think he's doing a great job trying to put out products. I'm just stating my opinion about the 2nd gen kit.

Well never seen any pics of your car, and most of the "newbies" around here are talking about electric superchargers, and clear corners. This is why my assumption was made. Good luck trying to find anyone else out there that would even thing about manufacturing a kit or let alone a lip for us. Sure there is wings west, but who knows when they will be going back into production of parts. I think his design is suiting for our car, and prefer it over the veilside kit anyday.

you guys are a ball, the second gen kit was designed for the car, following the lines and not just throwing in design cues for the hell of it. I prefer a clean extension of whats already there, and the 2nd gen CL needs a clean simple kit without a billion cuts in it. Anyway, wait till it comes out, It will definetly compliment the lines of the car, unlike most of the other bodykit manufacturers who make one kit and adapt it to domestic and import vehicles, such a disgrace to automotive design. A front lip for the first gen is def a possibility, and if all goes well with the second gen kit, i will have a better idea of the time frame and might even just do it for the hell of it. I am not going to work on it anymore thogh, I usually wait til a week or so before production since i can't sit on a design no matter how good it looks.

I appriciate everything that your doing for the acurazine community, I think the 2nd gen kit is nice, everytime i see the sketches of it, It makes me want to buy one. Would it be a possibility to do a rear skirt? Just because we really have no option that will fit as far as that goes. Onlything would be to cut/mold it on. I think a rear lip would go over well with everyone that has a front lip, sides, but no rear because of the modification that is needed for it to fit.

Thanks for the design ideas ron. Let us know about the front lip, or the possibilities of a rear lip. These would probably be easier to get the a-zine masses to buy. We'll wait to hear about the progress of the 2nd gen first.
