RJ Sport Design 1st Gen CL kit Concept pics***

here's a preliminary sketch, just to give you guys a direction, post comments and suggestions and show interest enough, and this could be a possibility. As far as the kit, it will be constructed of polyurethane, and it will be an add on lip kit, you can see the seams. Pricing will be like the 2nd gen Acura CL kit posted on our website:

rondog you might want to round up the front kit a little more. It looks too square. The side squirts are straight and we need to see the rear when you get the chance to do a sketch on it. So far so good!
With a few adjustments this kit should look SWEET!

Also the middle of the front kit should not be one straight line accross; raise up the middle a bit like the stock front bumper.

rondog how about using more or less the same front and rear bumper as the 2nd gen CL? Have you tried photoshopping and seeing how it will look? I think the whole kit from the 2nd gen CL's will fit and look How about following those same lines.

what about doing a 3 piece kit to compliment the Wings West front lip that many of us already have?

This was my suggestion back when this started. Use the ww lip as a base and build around it. THe ww lip is pretty perfect the way it is, even though they are a bitch to find.

but I think the 2nd gen front kit would look SWEET on our car. Lets
see what rondog comes up with and then we give our opinions.

BTW - The front kit has to look SWEETER than the Wings West front lip or I

I think it looks clean as hell. Not ricey at all. I'd get it if it were to come out. Anything more aggressive and I'd stay away from it. Great job man, keep it up!

thanks for the feedback, i think the front lip only might be a possibility, sides and rear can be ww, or even OEM, just don't think its really worth it. even if the kit did sell 25 or more in a month or 3, that the break even point, have to move a ton more to say it's really worth it. i'll post a more updated version soon.

I definately think it should look sharper. It looks like a second gen, witha double chin. I personally was hopin for somethin more aggressive too.

I think the front lip looks really good, I like it way better than the 2nd gen one. Very good work not making it too aggressive and ricey. I would buy if the price was right.

I really like it. Needs a bit of tweaking, but I know the final production will be really smooth. I would deffinitely buy it. When I get a job of course.

plus it has enough room for an intercooler(if you need one). i molded it but thats just what id do. just looks cleaner IMO.

Then you would need to cut the bumper.. no? Does look good though... Maybe 2 or 3 designs can be made and then have the forum chose which kit they like best?? Props for the effort though..

that opening is impossible since the kit is just an add on lip and that would require cutting the original bumper, and once again, an add on lip, or the whole add on kit would priced this way:
