RJ Sport Design 1st Gen CL kit Concept pics***

i think the gap between the stock and the new design needs to be filled in and it should be a little more aggressive
and i would like to see a rear if possible
nice work and rough job on it, maybe flair out the front a bit maye 3/4" and fill in the front and bring it out about 3/4"

I think it looks good, the cl is not an "aggressive" car, It's a luxury car. I think it would be worth it to make a whole kit, being that many have the ww front lip already, and many of use would love to have a bolt-on side skirt and rear lip that don't need to be cut/molded/modified to fit on. I rather have those side skirts, rather than the ww skirts I have now.

rondog, if its just an add on lip then why so much for it? I know they sell bodykits for other cars around the same price and they're not add on lips but
full kits ( bumpers & skirts ).
OK then, how much would it cost to make the bumper
look like the BlueCLRycR photoshopped? I think it looks hot and could definately look hotter with some MINOR adjustments.
What else can you come up with excluding the double chin on the lip you did?
I liked it minus the upper chin.

It is probably so much money because it is urethane and not fiberglass most aftermarket kits are fiberglass. Urethane is more expensive and more difficult to manipulate.

Well Ronjon is known for only putting out quality stuff and I'm sure putting out fiberglass that will crack if you nail a pothole is not good business to them. They rather do it right or not do it at all..Damn I sound like a Ronjon salesman...
Rondog hook a Platano up with a JOB...mine sucks..

Got it chief! Urethane it is.

And before you mention other companies, they are large companies most of the time, with disposable funds. You think if Ron made a kit like the widow kit or whatever it is, he'd be in business after that?
The fact that the 1st gen CL is old and discontiuned is a limiting factor as well. Hell, until now, there really has been no option for 2nd gen CLs except for the Versus kit. And even then, nothing is guarnteed for him.
I sometimes crack up at this site as you people are driving luxury vehicles that are not that common, yet refuse to pay the price for aftermarket parts that such a vehicle commands. You all want to pay civic prices for cl cars. And its not limited to the first gen, but 2nd gen CLs/TLs, and even a little in the third gen TLs as well.

Then how many people would buy it Its impossible to get 25 people together for a group buy on CF hoods, same price as a front lip roughly, so what makes you think they will buy a front kit in the number to make this profitable for him?

Ejem Ejem let me clear my throat...The 2nd Gen has a host of parts available compared to the 1st Gen. 2nd Gen can get CF anything, better wheels , superchargers whatever..1st Gen can't even get a direct fit exhaust, so its not that we don't want to pay its we want to make sure it looks good. I am sure there will be plenty of lip kits sold once it is produced. If the kit is hot enough I'll get rid of my WW lip that I just bought..

^ You can find the answer by looking at the number of CL's produced from 96-99'.
Almost everyone I've ever seen in a CL is young and young people just want to
out their cars. Just like me

That's the first thing I thought. That's why I believe I said a lip kit like VXCL's old CL would do just fine. Nontheless, I do like the widemouth of the kit except its
square sides by the wheel well.

Either way you look at it, the fron and rear lips need to com to a pont in the middle to match teh bumpers, they cannot be rounded. I htink hes heading in the right direction, just need more time to play with it.

The angles are wrong. There's needs to be more of a "lip" at the very bottom of the lip, sides, and rear to reflect light upward, not cast shadows on itself. Front and rear needs more outward protrusion.
