Rim problem

Alright guys, I got a huge problem here. I have a 97' 3.0 with stock suspension. Now I bought these Giovanna anzio II's off this kid with a 98 3.0 CL. Now, he had these rims on there for like 2 or 3 months. They're in perfect condition, so I picked them up for my car. Now, there 18 x 7.5, I go to put them on, and there touching the break caliper in the front, so we take them off and put spacers on the front, and the screws weren't long enough to get the spacer and the rims on together. Now, does anyone have any other suggestions. I really think the offset is wrong. Now, is the 98 and 97 offset that different. I really don't wana have to sell these, cause they are in perfect condition with brand new tires. So does anyone have any suggestions, or know what could be done. If not, does anyone with a 98 want these. $1300 + shipping.

The spacing should be all the same, are you SURE the kid had them on his CL? and not some other car?

Offset for this size wheel should be around 40-45 mm. Mine is 42 mm.

Yeah, I was pretty sure. What do you think the offset on the rims has to be for that to happen. Like in the 30's?

Check the inside of the rim, a lot of times the offset will be stamped in there.

Good luck.

Does anyone know whether you could put longer screws on our cars. That was another suggestion. But, I went to pep boys and they were trying to charge me 400 bucks to do it.

Not exactly sure. I think there's two sizes right, I think you could either use a 1/4" or a 1/2". I'm not exactly sure which one they used when they did it
