riding like poopie

Ok 6 months ago i put on tokico shocks/eibach springs and now where i work i mean the roads are crappy lot of dips and lot of bad bumps i mean i know theres nuttin u can do bout that... i also have the sprint camber kit... I feel my car rides pretty much normal or like any other car when im driving around my town...but when i drive around work and hit those bumps and dips its pretty severe. Like some bumps are like baaaa boooom. baaaaaaaa boom. Like its really slammin hard and i hear like crackin and squeakin and then when i hit those dips it seems like the tire jus kinda goes w/ out the car heeh like it drops then comes up weird. Does anyone else have this kinda of problem? I mean i realize i dropped my car and its not going to drive the same...I just wanted to know if anyone has a setup similar to mine? And also if its bad when the car hits these severe bumps i mean there not pot holes but the car seems to hit hard like boom on the dash. And is there any cheep thing i can change on my suspension to make ride quality better...i dont want to buy all new shocks or anything.. Thankz

It's the sprint camber kit thats making it bumpy. Gauranteed!

I had one on for 2 days and got rid of it because it ruins the ride. Really bouncy!

Its not the camber kit. Its harsh cause you're using tokico shocks. Trust me, I've ridden in a car with tokico/prokit combo and from experience, KYBs/Prokit is 10X better ride.

I guess it could be your struts too, but i'm positive your sprint camber kit has something to do with it. It's a POS! Did you get it off ebay?

All i know is that when I put in that camber kit, the ride became terrible. It felt like my shocks were blown. I could only stand it for 2 days, and then I had it taken out.

i've been running tokico's for a long time and have never had a problem w/ the shocks; tokico's aren't bad (and yes i've ridden on alot of other shocks). It's probably your camber kit, i've narrowed down my bad crack/pop to my motor mount. I'm hopefully gonna take it out next weekend and see if in fact that is the problem.

ghander, you have sportline/tokico blues righT? it rides pretty good righT? I mean im not like an old lady the rides not perfect but definitly nothing really to complain about... I guess its the camber kit but i still confused how a metal bar adjusting alignment has affect on how the car rides...? Actually the guy at the shop just went to nopi.com and hes like this is the one u need when i knew nothing bout the subject...

hey r0dxx i got the same setup tokico blues sportline drop ...

to describe my ride ... great on regular streets ... a little harsh on the big bumps but i mean not to the point where its makin banging noises im also on an ignalls camber kit i wasnt aware that a camber kit could effect the ride either ..

all i know is that my front settings with the ignalls kit are at the extreme any more adjustment and the shock would be hittin the wheel well (shock or tire dont remember exactly ) but its real tight in there ... maybe u should have the adjustments checked out
