reverse el indiglo install HELP

ok going to replace my guages - piece of cake right? everything but wiring -- only two wires needed ground and +12 - i want to get the +12 from parking lights so indiglos come on when lights do, but how do i know which one it is? is there a wiring diagram somewhere? i seem to have lost my helms manual and it's too tight to squeeze a volt meter back there to measure it
erghhh!!!

you can use either of the red wires that plug into the existing dimmer, not the one that comes with the indiglos but the stock one, and also the only ground there. this turns your gauges on with your lights, but depending on which positive wire you choose dims the gauges with a different half of the rest of ur stuff. i think i used the wires on the edges of the connecter and using the stock dimmer they dim with all the climate controls and stuff up top, but it looks good full bright. i know the instructions that came with mine said to splice them into the headlight wires or something but definatly use the dimmer wires.

ahh man -- yeah now i remember people saying to use the dimmer -- erghhh - thanks for the quick response man! but it's too late - i already put back together the plastic pieces and it's getting a little dark, but at least i hadn't taken the guage pod out yet --i'll do it tom.
thanks again (-:

definatly much easier job when its light, i installed them after work a couple weeks ago and ended up having to take them back out to fix the wiring also. after also putting a carbon fiber 'bezel' on, im gettin pretty good at taking the gauges out.
