Replacing my high beam light with yellow/amber light

I was interested in replacing my high beam light to the yellow/ amber color lights. Is that possible or has anyone else done that before? I guess what Im saying is like its sort of like a built in fog light system like the 90-93 acura integras. It doest have to be a fog light, but does anyone know if they do make a light bulb style that is yellow that will fit into the high beam section?

Yeap, they make them. And you can get them from almost any good company. I got em in my car.

Something like that, but how do I have my high beams light on at the same time when I turn on my parking lights? Do I have to connect the wiring from the parking light and saughter it to the high beam light? Now I actually dont want high beams at all, I just want lights that are yellow/amber in color that are like your regular headlights fit into the high beam compartment that turns on and stays on when all lights are turn on.

They make them, but you'll be driving around with uncovered high beams all the time

its illegal? then how do integras with the Type-R front end, old school TLs/legends etc get away with it then?

high beams (9005) don't have the painted tips, which makes them brighter, that's why i was saying it was dumb to drive around with his high beams on

wait, are you running a modified 194/168 bulb or are you just driving around with your high beams on with a yellow 9005 bulb. If it's the latter then I understand why you got pulled over

The driving light on the JDM integ fronts is aimed like a low beam, and most DRL's run the high beam bulb at half power so you aren’t blinding everyone on the road.

I know this thread is old but I am looking for an answer.

I am confused right now as there are two different packaging for the NOKYAs Yellow bulbs im looking at and cant confirm which one is Official/Better.

Its either:

Or

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41YIifBQzPL.jpg

Can anyone help me out plz?

Looks like the ones i put in for my low beams. They work fine

Intensity and wattage are the same with those packages... but the bulbs are different... one has a cap one doesnt... my low beam ones are capped. So maybe the capped ones are 9006 and the uncapped ones are 9005?

The pictures are just for reference to the packaging. EBAY has both NOKYA in 9005 with no cap on it.
Im just wondering which one is the Official NOKYA? or maybe their the same?

HIDs look good. But I don't have the $$ to spend on a Kit now. plus I want to see if Yellow looks good and if it doesn't lower visibility at night even on a clear night.
