Replacing the Alternator?

Hey guys. Just wondering how hard it is to replace the alternator in the 3.0. So far I have replaced the alternator in two corollas without many problems (except for the lack of space to work).

Also, how much should I be paying for a new alternator?

Installation is fairly easy. You'll need to remove a few pieces to make enough room for the alternator to drop in.

I dropped mine in from the top. Total time was 2 hours (including time needed to swap pulleys from the OEM to my 180-amp alternator).

I paid $150 for mine about 2 years ago.

You can get an OEM alternator here: www.acuraautomotiveparts.org
